Good Mourning. UGH.

I just want to curl up in the fetal position and cry. I want to eat all the ice cream or eat nothing at all. I want to torture myself by watching Rudy, Remember the Titans, The Replacements, The Blind Side, Water Boy, The Gridiron Gang and Little Giants. I have no idea what I am doing.

All I know is we lost. I hate losing.

People say, " Well you can't win them all!" And I say "Why the HELL Not?" Isn't that the definition of undefeated?!?! It is possible to WIN THEM ALL.

Yes, I am heartbroken and depressed. I am not in the mood to be cheered up. I just want to wallow in my sorrows.

Right now, I don't want to look at the brighter side of things. I don't want to hear we have next season or how bright our future is with Kap, Willis, La Michael....

Right now, I don't want to see another MEME, or read another article about how we almost won or that the whole thing was rigged. SHOULDA, coulda, woulda.....

Right now,  I don't want to hear about how I still have the SF Giants World Series to celebrate, and when the catchers and pitchers are reporting for duty.

Right now, I HATE the color purple and will NEVER buy Tide AGAIN.

Right now, I am pounding on my keyboard. LOL

Make fun of me, call me a sore loser, HELL, JOIN me! LOL Misery loves company!!!

I don't like being told to MOVE ON. Its just RUDE.

(Obviously, a Pre Party pic.)

Still Bitter,

Let me start off by apologizing for not keeping this blog updated. I have been busy with work, family, and most of all, being a FAN! (Hey, nowhere does it say, "To be a die-hard, you must keep up with your cool blog.")

CONGRATS to David Lee of the San Francisco Oh, I mean Golden State Warriors on becoming an All Star!

Honorable Mention: San Jose Sharks are really making the most of a shortened season! 7-0! Way to go!
(SIDE NOTE: I personally do not know much about Hockey. All I know is, "Concentration, not strength" and "Quack, Quack!")

I love the idea of this blog, but definitely need help running it. I don't get paid to do this, but if I did that would be awesome. LOL If there is anyone out there that is willing to be a female Gary Radnich please email me. KEYWORD: Female

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1. Love Giants, Niners, and Warriors < Notice I did not say "or". you must LOVE all 3. Love the Sharks a plus.
  • 2. Willing to post 1-2 weekly on sports related topics.
  • 3. Knows how to post blogs on Blogger and knows English.

Thank you and come again,

Jechane (pronounced Ja-Shawn and No, I am not a rapper or play for the 49ers)

Welcome to my Blog! I am a BAY AREA “Gamer Babe”. I love the GIANTS, 49ers, and Golden State Warriors. THAT’S ALL. I hate the Raiders, Lakers, and A’s. Yup. I said it. So what? Freedom of Speech. LOL I do appreciate the loyal fan, though. For instance, you are from Oakland and love the A’s?? LOYAL. I love it. Can’t hate on that. Hey, If you rather be an “Athletic Supporter” than a G-Men fan, more power to ya.
As for myself, I have a love for sports, but not as much as a dude. Whats the difference? Well, let me explain how I see it…. A dude that loves Baseball will watch ALL Leagues (National and American), Spring training, the Minors and even coach little league etc.  A chick that loves sports, will watch all of HER teams games, and good looking players teams.  I know there are always exceptions to the rule, so chill out ladies. I don’t need hate mail.
If you are looking for well thought out analysis, you have come to the wrong place.

Giants that turned Blue

I love the Giants/Dodger rivalry! I love the “BEAT LA” chant heard throughout the yard, the t-shirts, photos, signs, the e-cards, etc. It brings me back to high school when you had rivals and everyone would go all out in their school colors. Each school would try to outdo each other with witty signs and boast how great their school was by screaming and cheering for their team.
With the Giants and Smurfs, it was all fun and games until someone (seriously) got hurt. Bryan Stow was almost beaten to death after a Giants/Dodger game in L.A. It was a tragic incident that I pray will never happen again. The incident really put a spotlight on the rivalry. I personally thought the MLB was going to put an end to it, just like they did with the 49er/Raider games. But I am glad they didn’t. Instead the MLB reiterated that the rivalry ends as soon as they’re off the field. (PUNK ASS DODGER FANS!!! Oops, Sorry. Can’t help it.)
If you sit and think about it, the Giants/Dodger rivalry really doesn’t really exist in the present time. This strong hate for the Dodgers really doesn’t have much to stand on since we have a young team. (Maybe Kershaw and Lincecum?) The young bucks carry on the long time tradition of the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. Our real beef should be with the Phillies.
The worst thing you could do is become a Dodger AFTER being a Giant. There should be a law against that. Some of my favorite players have choked on their greed and turned an ugly shade of blue. They are no longer in my top 10.
For instance:
Juan BOOO-Ribe- Really, Bro?! Win a World Series and leave to go to the Dodgers because they will promise your DL-riding ass 3 years?
Jeff Kent- Loved him for beating up Barry Bonds and taking the MVP award in 2000, but hate him for being a traitor. He went to the Astros before going to the Dodgers, but still became a Dodger nonetheless.
Jason Schmidt- Great Pitcher! Loved him. He had Jackie Robinson’s number before they retired it, he must have really wanted to be Robinson.

As for a Dodger becoming a Giant, prepare to work hella hard and not to be fan favorite until you make the Top 10 on Sportscenter at least 10 times.
I completely understand the saying, “For the love of the game!” But again for example, Jackie Robinson retired rather than becoming a Giant. I totally admire that. Kudos #42 for respecting the rivalry.
Who I don’t get is Juan Marichal. I knew he was an awesome player when he was with the Giants, but he too went to the Dodgers. The Dodger fans DESPISED him and he did not last long there, but he still went. Hmmm…?

Anyway, as always, lay off the high ones,
Dottie Hinson

P.S. If I said anything to offend you, I am not sorry. This is just MY opinion, but please if you want to send me hate mail send it to (DISCLAIMER: Not a valid email, just want to piss you off more)

What's the matte with Zito? He's A BUM!!!

SERIOUSLY, Barry Zito needs to swim his can’t-throw-a-strike-to-save-my-life ass back across the Bay! He absolutely worthless. I could be saying the same thing about Lincecum (but I won’t).
As a fan, I have no faith when he is on the mound. I pray that he gets taken out by the 3rd inning. He gets himself in messes like he did last night against the
I feel like he is returning to his old self. I hope I can say the same for Lincecum.
All in all, Zito is a waaaayyy over hyped (not to mention way over paid) washed up pitcher. Love the Giants, just not Zito. Bummer.
Stop throwing high ones!,

Giants/Angels game June 19th, 2012

Last Monday, the whole clan went on vacation to Anaheim for a Giants away game and DISNEYLAND! This was Matt Cain’s first start since the perfect game; we were all stoked to be there!
Let me paint you a picture: My brother was his Authentic M&N flannel McCovey jersey. My husband was in his brand-new M&N Will Clark batting jersey, a father’s day gift from the kids. Both of my sisters were sporting Giants T-shirts with my youngest sister in her Panda hat. The boys drenched in black and orange with a touch of eye-black under their big eyes and foam fingers. My daughter had on a Giants tutu, made by Rita Rebello Designs, and received tons of compliments (even from Angel fans)! I wore my Orange #18 Jersey and my favorite SF hat. My little sister created 2 signs saying, “In Cain We Trust” and “Gamer Fam from the City”. We were definitely ready for the game!
We pulled up to the parking lot and the attendant said, “Welcome! 10 dollars please.” I was like 10 dollars?!?!?! WOW! What a deal! (TAKE NOTES: ATT Park.) At first, I thought we were going to stick out like sore thumbs with all of our Giants gear, but to my surprise, WE were the majority! Nice… My sister in law reported last week that Giants fans at the Giants/Mariners game in Seattle surrounded her. We are taking over each stadium one game at a time.
As we entered the stadium, we did a lap to check out the yard. Not bad! Not bad at all! Pint of Shock Top for $10! Food was decently priced and I even bought a souvenir mini bat for 5 bucks!!! We got grub and drinks then headed to our seats.
We were literally 10 rows from the field, and I could smell the fresh cut grass. I looked up and there they were: Brandon and Brandon!!! I must’ve been in Heaven! Oh, and there’s Angel! I was so excited for the game to start. Main Cain strode out of the bullpen and Cain receives a well-deserved standing ovation from ALL fans.
During the game, it was quite uneventful. There was no fanfare, no special chants, no “CHARGE!” NOTHING for the Angels. Their fans even started doing the WAVE! Oh, the nerve! The Giants fans rocked the yard with TONS of cheers and jeers!
We ended up winning Game 1 of the 3 game series. They lost the next 2. It was a great experience, and definitely enjoyed our first away game as a family.
Nice to see some high ones live,
Dottie Hinson

Brandon Belt… In the Shadows.

I feel like Brandon Belt’s performance in the series against the Astros was way in the depth of the shadows of some pretty remarkable innings.
Not to discredit, Bum’s homer , but Belt hit a home run also. His first homer of the season and he is shows no signs of stopping. After Belt homered in game 2 of the series, I started blogging and my title was, “2 for 2! Deja Vu!” then Cain pitches a perfect game.
So to the say the least, I even left him in the shadows. Sorry Bro! But TODAY, I wanted to spotlight him. He deserves that! I blasted him in a previous post, saying he needed to step up his game etc.etc.etc Uhhhh… I won’t go into details, no need to relive the past. LOL I feel the kid is working hard to keep up with the rest of the Giants and has definitely earned his spot! Becoming a patient batter and changing his stance has really helped and pitchers should be scared.
As a chick, he moves up on the roster of hotness. Definition of a hot player is: great looking, makes great plays, makes us laugh AND has an awesome outlook of life, the game and everything in between. It is a plus that he looks like an adorable giraffe.
Well done Brandon Belt. Hope I get to blog about you in a positive way more often. LOL Well Done!
Lay off the high ones  (BELT does!),
Dottie Hinson
P.S. Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford have a blog together!! How cute a bro-mance!

It Was Meant To BE!

I am so excited for Matt Cain!! He is such a great pitcher and team leader. He tossed an AMAZING game. This game is historic for the league ,the franchise, and most importantly him. He broke his own career high strikeouts of 12 and extended it to 14!!! And lets not forget the BIG ole Goose Eggs lined up next to the Astros.
For the Giants, this is the 1st perfect game. EVER.
For the league, only the 22nd perfect game.
NUMBERS DON’T LIE. He is worth the money he is paid.
He couldn’t have done it alone. Between Melky’s catch, Blanco’s amazing grab, Arias throw and the electricity of the crowd behind him there was no way that his Giants family would let him down. As for me watching on TV, with my butt clenched, eyes wide open, and palms sweaty, I was clapping with every pitch. I felt like this was something special. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I have never seen a PERFECT game. I seriously felt like it was 2010 Game 5 of the World Series.
Tonight, it was a different type of torture. We as fans, we weren’t pulling for the win, we had that in the bag. We all felt the torture with every single pitch. I sat with knots in my stomach, waiting for the umpire to point his little finger or for that amazing catch and throw to first base.
Matty Cain is my favorite pitcher. He started as a Giant, and will remain a Giant for life. I love the loyalty. It was truly nice to see such a quiet gent be in the spotlight. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving Giant. I was literally in tears when it was all over. This is a special team to me, my family, and my friends. We watch the games together, we talk about the Giants all the time, and we even get my sister into the game! Don’t get her wrong, she likes the Giants, but I think her like is creeping into love. I think I am gonna buy her a shirt. LOL
AMAZING GAME, Matty Cain! Thank you.
Thanks Astros for not laying off the high ones,
Dottie Hinson
P.S. I hate the Comcast Sportscaster, Greg Papa! I watched the Post Game, and all he wanted to talk about was the controversy of the foul ball hit by Schafer. He brought it up with everyone he spoke with. It was a GOOD call by the umpire. It is a perfect game. SO SHUT THE HELL UP GREG! YOU ARE A GIANT HATER! I am not a fan, nor will I ever be a fan of Greg. EVER. I am gonna write and complain about him to Comcast and hopefully take his job. OR I could just go to the Comcast Fan BBQ and give him a piece of my mind (and foot).
